Katie Coogan MasonKatie was born in Canberra and moved to London at a young age and attended the Italia Conti school of Arts and Drama, the alma mata of Tracey Ullman and Naomi Campbell. Here she traded musical ideas with Kelly Bryan and Louise Nurding from the pop group 'Eternal', who were personal friends and classmates.

Studying dance, drama and singing, Katie performed in London and Sydney in various TV, stage and film productions. Katie moved away from acting to concentrate on her first love, singing and has since become established as a solo artist. Katie has performed as a backing vocalist for Annie Crummer and John Stevens and has become an in-demand session singer.

She now enjoys a successful career in music working in and around the greater Sydney area. Katie's musical influences are wide and cover Jazz, traditional Irish-Folk, R&B, Pop, Funk, Soul and a twist of Country. She loves artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Marley, Eddy Reader and Queen Latifah.
